Fundraising

Fundraising is a highly effective way that you can raise awareness and money for a worthwhile cause. If you would like to make a difference to the lives of those who we support, you could fundraise for The Forge Project and together we can make a difference!

Whether you are running a marathon or baking cakes you could raise money by doing what you like to do.

Please register your event with us now so that we can help you with publicity for your event and provide you with a logo for your sponsorship forms.

Get involved in your workplace

Corporate support from organisations in the community help us to raise much needed resources for The Forge Project, through donations of food, clothing and cash. Support can also be raised during fundraising events at work or by volunteering your time.

Some organisations allow their staff members to take some paid time off work to support local charity work which is an excellent way to raise awareness about homelessness, whilst giving back to the community.

If you are a business owner and would like to give back to the community, please get in touch and we can create a working partnership that can make a difference!

Leave a gift in your will

Remembering The Forge Project in your will is a wonderful opportunity to help support our work with homeless people. If you choose to remember The Forge Project in your will, we will use your gift carefully so it achieves the greatest impact to our service users.

If this is something you would like to consider, it is important to discuss your will, and the type of gift you would like to leave, with your solicitor.

Volunteering

The Forge Project could not help so many people without the support of our volunteers. Volunteers are a vital part of The Forge Project’s services and are a really important part of The Forge Project’s team, working alongside staff and service users each day.

If you have some time to spare, are interested in volunteering here at The Forge Project, and are a good listener with a non-judgemental attitude, then we may be the solution. Please contact Jo, our Volunteer Co-ordinator on 01724 276742. Induction and training will be provided.
